Volume 1: Descendants of Abraham Beaumont of Deershaw.
"Forefathers: A History of the Working Class Beaumonts of West Riding, Yorkshire"
By Diana and Michael Beaumont.
Much has been written about the Beaumont nobility in Yorkshire -- the landed gentry, such as the Beaumonts of Lascelles Hall -- but there is little that tells of the difficult and often impoverished lives of those Beaumonts who lived outside the manor house walls. The working-class Beaumonts were ordinary men and women who were honest Quakers, woolen weavers, stone delvers, and steelworkers.
All Chapters in Volume 1 have been updated with new,

Many years of research have gone into our study of the Beaumont's of the West Riding of Yorkshire and it’s surrounding areas. There is still much to do and the search continues.
The information that has been found in archives, libraries and personal private collections is information that we are willing to share with anyone who has an interest in furthering their own family genealogy.
These books were written to share the knowledge that we have obtained from traveling to England and researching original records as much as possible. Talking with and recording information obtained from family and friends who live in the area, and using the vast resources available to all of us through the generosity of the Family History Library in Salt Lake City and the Mormon Church and Ancestry.com
Every effort has been made to provide information that is both accurate and reliable. Anyone finding discrepancies is invited to contact us, so that we may apply any corrections necessary. For this we thank you.
Our data base has now grown to over 13,000 entries of marriages, births and deaths in the area of Yorkshire, Lancashire and Cheshire.
We are happy to make available our research with others who may share a common interest.
